Our Foundation was established primarily to carry out social community development work in the Niger Delta region. The Niger Delta is made up of homogenous communities that parade similar characteristics of poverty, deprivation and poor infrastructural development opportunities. This is despite the abundant opportunities that the region parade as a major contributor to the entire country. Curiously, the region’s enormous potential has been left to idle away in form of youth restiveness and other social vices. One key response for us as a Foundation therefore is the conscious strategy of empowerment of com through capacity building and training of young people, women and other vulnerable groups.
